Recent Runway Infatuations

It's been raining here in good old Madison, WI for the past few days. And so I'm in sort of a comfy mood. Like sit-inside-and-watch-a-movie-on-a-rainy-night mood. Oh, but I have two exams tomorrow. How silly of me.

Richard Chai Love, Fall 2010 RTW
And this line has had my attention for the past few seasons. The look is a little off-the-beaten-path, androgenous, but still feminine and put together. (Let's see how many times I use the phrase 'put together'...)
Lutz and Patmos, Fall 2010 RTW
I had never heard of these designers, but they are a self-described "LUXURY CASHMERE AND WOOL KNITWEAR LINE" This outfit is fantastic: I will be following them!

Lyn Devon, Fall 2010 RTW
I would wear this any day. So feminine, so clean-cut, no-fuss.
A Détacher, Fall 2010 RTW
I'm not too fond of the blue of these pants, or even the shade of tan of the boots; but I think the overall look would look really put-together and would feel really comfy.

Long time no...

Hello All,
Or should I say Buon Giorno?
I just got back from a week long conference in Rome and I found some inspiration... not from the Italians but the Spaniards. They have mad style, as some might say.
I am just starting a new project for my design studio class, which is a jacket. I don't have the final sketch done, but here are some of my inspirations. The images aren't cohesive in any way stylistically. I was just looking for silhouette inspiration, not style or color.

When I'm done with my project, perhaps I will upload a photo.
